Art Nook

Vivian's art nook in her room is mostly finished. Finally installed some shelves and got her supplies organized.

Snow and Holidays

We haven't finished decorating for the holidays yet, but here's the progress so far. There's something about the new house that makes it extra fun this year. And the snow today makes it feel even more cozy inside.

Raspberries are In!

These are special to us and came with when we moved.  The poor plants have been living in pots for quite a while.  So happy to have them settled in their new home.  And we made use of leftover rebar from the foundation for the side supports and perimeter edge.  One project crossed off the list.  🙂

Curtains

Curtains are up in our room! And many more boxes unpacked so the room is less cluttered. One small item off a long list of things to do, but feels good to make some progress.

Wowza

The lanscape lighting is in and it just kicked the whole exterior up a notch.  I haven't been able to capture it well in a pic, but we love the soft light outside in the evenings.  Next step is making final adjustments to the locations and angles, then burying the wire in the mulch.  

And plants!  So many plants to plant!  Jeremy helped me finish planting this front area. 

Closets!

We have closet organizers!  FINALLY!  Sorry for the fuzzy pics.  

Landscape Lighting in Progress

 

Our new home is wonderful, but I can't seem to stay inside it! There's so much to do in the yard and it's beautiful this time of year, despite our bad weather. I needed a break from planting, so I started working on the landscape lighting. All the fixtures are roughly in place, and the front yard is wired in. Mason helped wire a few too. We'll leave the wires exposed until it's lit up so we can easily make adjustments to the locations of each light.
