Backfill Finished!

Backfilling the foundation is complete.  The conduit is ready for PSE to run power to the temporary pole.  And they started scraping the rock off the well road and laying it on the driveway.  It's looking good!

The good news is they made more progress in the front and south yards.  The bad news is the install guy at PSE has decided to be a Scrooge and push our electrical install out to Jan 19th.  There's not a thing we can do about it.  But the full framing crew will start right away once we have power.

First Step for Electrical

The process to get power to the property began in August, and we're still not there yet.  But the electrician came out today to set the temporary power pole.  We're officially on PSE's install schedule, but we don't know when they'll actually be out to do the work.  It's best if the framers have power,  so we're anxious for PSE to do their part so our project isn't held up.

The drain pipe and conduit have been delivered.  And it looks like the framer came out to check the foundation.  The builder mentioned he'd asked him to come out to make sure all was right before we backfill, which makes sense.  There are a couple pillars out back that look like they need to be repoured.  Hopefully that doesn't cost us much time. 

Our homework for the weekend was to mark where we want the propane tank to go.  Also working on laundry room cabinet layout and tile decisions.
