I Have a Plant Problem

I try to plant several pots a day, but I can't seem to get ahead...probably because I keep buying plants. But the more that goes in, the more the yard becomes ours. I've already seen a couple hummingbirds who stopped by to check out the progress. And we had other animal visitors this week.

Our closet order should have arrived with the installer today, or it'll be next Tuesday. We're so frustrated with this process. But we finally received the longer cable we need for Starlink internet. Next Thursday the electrician is scheduled to come out to get things up and running, along with speakers, doorbell, and our bathroom pendant over the tub. Hopefully there'll be no more ugly cable snuck through our bedroom window after he's done.

Gallery Wall

A big thank you to my talented sister for bringing this gallery wall in the study to life.  We spent the last two evenings working on it and I love how it turned out.  Now we just need more international trips so we can add to it.

Signed

Whew!  So much garage moving this past week and weekend to prepare for closing on Tuesday.  We signed papers this morning, then drove over for our final load.  We're tired but relieved to be finished.  Next step is organizing and getting rid of extras, but the pressure is off.

It's fun to watch the yard come to life.  The Korean Spice Viburnum smells lovely.  The serviceberry trees out front are covered in pretty white blossoms too.

Calm Between the Storms

After a week of random snow and hail, it's nice to enjoy a pretty evening.

Lego Table

Our missing sectional end pieces were delivered today.  We finally have a full couch up there!  I worked on Evan's lego table and started hanging art on his walls.   And I'm loving the vine maple out front.  The tips look like fairy lights.

A Little Each Day

We're slowly getting settled, although sometimes it's hard to remember what we've accomplished.  Some days it's little things like putting a latch handle on the crawlspace access or hanging art or rolling out a rug.   We're enjoying visits from the neighborhood deer and watching signs of spring appear in the yard.

Pantry Progress

Having our pantry in boxes and temp shelving became old quickly. So today we finished the upper shelves in the pantry. Stocking them is still in progress. Countertops soon. Although after battling with these shelf angles I'm not looking forward to the counters.
