Framing Week 3 Day 4

The Kitchen, Pantry, and Ofice Nook came together today.  And they cut and marked the top and bottom plates for the interior walls in that end of the house.  We love it so far!

Checking out the kitchen windows.  They all have mulled transoms that are 2' high along the top.  The center panel is a picture window.  The two sides are casements.
Eyebrows are up...he likes it.
These are the windows in the house "brain"...an office nook next to the kitchen.  It'll be the organization and paperwork hub for the house.  Jeremy refers to it as the "Bri Nook".
Nook window on the left; Kitchen windows on the right.  The pocket for the porch beam is between the two along the top.
Left to Right:  Laundry exterior door, Laundry window, Office Nook windows, Kitchen windows.  This is the NE corner of the main floor.
All the exterior walls are up from the Kitchen to the Study.  We think the Dining Room patio slider wall might go up tomorrow.  It's sheeted and ready to go.
They prepped top and bottom plates for some interior walls today.  You can see the outline of the Office Nook, Pantry, and part of the Kitchen here.
More walls layed out.  Laundry, Stairs, Hallway, and part of the Powder Bath.
Pocket for the back porch beam between the Kitchen and Office Nook.
