Framing Week 4 Day 5

The 10x10 posts arrived!  We've been anxiously waiting to see these posts and beams go in, and they did not disappoint.  It's hard to capture in photos, but they bring a cozy Northwest feel to the house already and there's still two more beams to install.  I love how they define the rooms, but we still have an open floor plan.  

 They also sheeted the 2nd floor joists that went in yesterday, so some areas of the main floor have more of a ceiling.  Unless we get a lot of snow, the main framer (Mike) plans to work tomorrow.  I answered some stair related questions today, so that might be something he works on soon.
