Today is the day we should have had our final concrete pour. No rain in the forecast. Perfect day to finish the job. But the concrete truck driver's union decided today was a good day to go on strike instead. There were no concrete trucks on the roads in King County today. And there is no way to know when the weather and concrete supply will align again. We've been waiting a long time, and now we keep waiting.
Masking and trim prep continues. And our new range hood arrives early next week.
