Framing Week 8 Day 3

The kitchen ceiling beams are in!  The layout of these beams has taken a lot of thought.  Luckily we got an early start on the cabinet layout and the range hood dimensions so we could plan ahead.  These beams impact the lighting layout too.  We're happy with how they turned out.  It will give the kitchen some character.  

The two boys' bedrooms have roof sheeting overhead.  It changes the feel of the room beneath when the sheeting goes in.  It feels more like a house.  

The monster ridge beam is due to arrive tomorrow and the boom truck will put it into place.  Then there's nothing to keep them from putting that ceiling together.  

Our windows are very delayed, but we have a delivery date.  They'll be installed April 29th and 30th.  That includes all the patio doors and laundry exterior door too.  It feels like they'll be about about a month late, but they couldn't have been ordered any sooner.
